There are a number of ways individual and corporate members of our community can help. This project is gaining focus, and as it does, the opportunities will multiply rapidly.
The FreedomBox is under active development but new contributors are always welcome. The development Team primarily communicates using the FreedomBox Mailing list and on the [#freedombox IRC channel|irc://irc.oftc.net/freedombox] on OFTC
We have a list of current coding tasks list to see what the current development priorities are. Read Debian's wiki pages about FreedomBox to learn more about contributing code. You can also help us transcribe or translate our videos for greater accessibility, join the discussion, work on user-interface designs, develop free software technologies that protect privacy, or prepare boxes for testing the coming images and builds.
The FreedomBox Foundation is a Delaware non-profit that relies on community support to continue supporting the FreedomBox social and technical movements. If you are able to help financially, please visit our donate page.
If your company makes technology relevant to our efforts, there are yet more ways to help. Contact us about donating engineering resources, funding, sourcing hardware or any other way you might contribute to our efforts.
